Sealed bids for 2015 Street Improvements-Partridge Circle, Contract 111-15-01 will be received by delivery at the following locations:
· Office of the engineer, Robert E. Lee & Associates, Inc., 1250 Centennial Centre Boulevard, Hobart, WI 54155 (deadline on 11/5/15 before 8:00 a.m. local time), or
· Town of Wrightstown Town Hall at 1527 Day Street, Greenleaf, WI 54126 (deadline on 11/5/15 ONLY between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. local time)
The sealed bids shall include the following and will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Town Hall on November 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. local time.
· 2,700 S.Y. of unclassified excavation.
· 2,700 S.Y. of 15-inch thick crushed aggregate base course.
· 1,500 L.F. of ditching.
· 3,700 S.Y. of topsoil, seed & mulch/erosion mat.
· Miscellaneous culvert replacement.
The owner encourages DBEs including MBEs and WBEs to submit bid proposals. The Bidding Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Bid Bond, Agreement, Statement of Surety Company, Contractor’s Affidavit, Contractor’s Release, Certificate of Substantial Completion, Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the following location(s):

The Contract shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes per wage scales.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check equivalent to 5% maximum proposal.
Prequalification of Bidders will be required 5 days prior to the bid opening.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid. Further, the Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid. The Owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work as may be deemed necessary by the Owner; and the same shall in no way affect or make void the contract, except that the appropriate additions to or deductions from the contract price will be made.
A pre-bid meeting will not be held.
