DOT Public Hearing

Notice is given that the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public hearing on the above matter at 4:30 p.m.on August 9, 2011, at the Town of Wrightstown Town Hall located at 1527 Day Street, Greenleaf, Wisconsin. 

As an information service, staff from the Department’s Region Office and the consultant, Strand Associates, Inc.Ò, will be present in the Town Hall from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing for informal discussion with interested persons. A map will be on display and a statement about the proposal will be available. 

Information concerning the proposal is also available for inspection and copying at the Department’s Northeast Region Office located at 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, Wisconsin, telephone (920) 492‑5643. 

The highway segment on the state trunk system proposed to be designated as a controlled access highway in accordance with Section 84.25, Wisconsin Statutes, named and officially laid out as STH 32/57 and located in the County of Calumet, is described as follows: Beginning at the County Line and extending in a northerly direction to Rockland Road in the City of De Pere. The project length is approximately 12.46 miles. 

Provisions have been made for the submission of written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to the testimony presented at the public hearing. This additional testimony will be included in the official hearing transcript if mailed or faxed to (920) 492‑5643 no later then August 19, 2011. Testimony is to be addressed to Wisconsin Department of Transportation, David Nielsen, NW Region Office, 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304‑5344. 

The hearing site is wheelchair accessible. Hearing impaired persons needing an interpreter at the meeting may request one by contacting the WisDOT Project Manager David Nielsen at least three working days prior to the hearing via The Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dial 711) 

The Department will review all testimony presented and reserves the right to designate all or part of the above‑described section of STH 32/57 as a controlled access highway.
