On July 1, 2009, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenleaf, St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Askeaton, and St. Paul's Catholic Church of Wrightstown merged to become St. Clare Parish. These thriving parishes each bring a heritage of more than 100 years of Catholic traditions to the new parish.  All three churches remain as worship sites for the community.  The parish serves over 1000 families in the Askeaton, Greenleaf, and Wrightstown communities.
