PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: REMOVE CAPS OFF PLASTIC
& GLASS BOTTLES AND JARS, CLEAN CONTAINERS BEFORE PLACING THEM
IN THE BIN, DO NOT BAG PLASTICS, CANS AND GLASS, BUT PLACE THEM
LOOSE IN RECYCLING BIN. FLATTEN ALL CARDBOARD BOXES TO A SIZE NO
LARGER THAN 24” BY 24” AND TIE IN BUNDLES. DO NOT MIX
PAPER WITH THE OTHER RECYCLABLE PRODUCTS -- PAPER IS TO BE TIED
IN BUNDLES OR PLACED IN PAPER GROCERY BAGS AND PLACED NEXT TO THE
BIN OR ON TOP OF THE OTHER ITEMS. DO NOT USE GARBAGE CANS AS RECYCLING
CONTAINERS.

GARBAGE PICK-UP for the Town of Wrigthstown is every Wednesday.
RECYCLING PICK-UP DATES for the Town of Wrightstown are the FIRST AND THIRD WEDNESDAY of the month.
ELECTION INFORMATION
All elections are held at the Town Hall with polls
opening at 7:00 a.m. and closing at 8:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are available by contacting Donna Martzahl, clerk, or by mail at P.O. Box 175, Greenleaf, WI 54126. A written and signed request is required for all absentee ballots.
Election of Town Board members is in April of odd number
years. Nomination papers are available from the clerk in December
of the previous year.
REAL ESTATE TAXES
Real estate tax bills are sent out from the Brown County
Treasurer’s office usually the second to third week in December.
Payments, either the first installment or payment in full shall
be made to the local municipality, the Town of Wrightstown at 2061
Mill Road, Greenleaf, WI 54126 by January 31st, unless other arrangements
have been made by your mortgage company. Checks from escrow funds
must be endorsed before mailing to the town. If escrow checks are
for more than the full payment of taxes a refund check will be issued.

DOG LICENSES
Wisconsin Act 39 requires the Town of Wrightstown to
collect the following fees for a dog license:
Note: any dog over 5 months of age must be licensed.

You will also be required to present PROOF OF RABIES
VACCINATION by a veterinarian.
You may send the appropriate fee by check with Proof of Rabies Vaccination
to:

Your Proof of Vaccination and license will be mailed
to you. Fees may also be paid at the home of the treasurer by appointment
or at the Greenleaf Wayside Bank on tax collection days. Please

LIQUOR LICENSES
Applications for liquor, cigarette and operator’s licenses may be obtained by contacting Donna Martzahl.
LOCAL EVENTS
Greenleaf Volunteer Fire Department annual picnic –
third Sunday in July at the Fireman’s Park, corner of State
Highways 57 & 32 and Fair Road.
SANITARY DISTRICT
#1
The community of Greenleaf is served by a sanitary
district with both water and sewer service.
Meter reading dates are approximately the 15th of March,
June, September and December.
For early reading of a meter or a problem with a meter
contact Lyle Dequaine.
For questions regarding water/sewer billing contact
Nancy Leick.
Any water breaks should be reported to Lyle
Dequaine.
